Spawning in west point typically puts you out near the school. A good game plan depends on you finding a safe home and and access to weapons to push your way into the city. I recommend any of the houses on the north side, next to the woods. You can forage for spears/food there to sustain you for a while.Bugs and worms are good bird bait for the stick traps, leafy greens and carrots are good rabbit bait for the box and cage traps. Some things are very tedious and even dangerous at times on a controller. Zooming in and out while moving requires you to do a weird hand position in order to stay moving. Shouting also requires this weird hand position if you want to shout while moving.
